This 4010 Colonial Series Dowel Top Post is 3″ x 43″, or 3″ x 50″. It is typically used in Over-The-Post banisters almost everywhere except at an intermediate landing of an “L” shaped stair or under a starting easing with a cap when a starter step is not used.
